Great place! Got my emissions test done, in and out in 15-20 minutes for a great price! Amy, the owner, is awesome & super helpful. Highly highly recommend this place.

I had never had an experience with Calvert Automotive until I started helping my Dad. I have taken his truck here twice. Once to fix what a dealership did and then today to help me get the AC working again. Excellent Customer Service, excellent skills and troubleshooting but the best part is they are honest and fair! After treating my Dad the way they have, they have definitely earned my business.

UPDATE 4/17/26 Had some PM done to my LC. Also had him look at some previous work done in an emergency crunch. Daniel was honest and told me the good/bad/ugly...got everything done/fixed the way it should have been. So glad I found Calvert, thank you! Honest, communication, listens, integrity, affordable...all words to describe Daniel and the team at Calvert. I've always been leery of outside shops...not the case with Calvert. He has fixed things other mechanics couldn't, honest throughout. Thank you for taking care of my 1999 LC.

The pricing is decently fair. I took half of my drive shaft into the shop to have a carrier bearing and U-joint replaced. They managed to do it in a timely manner with the tools they have. Managing to damage the bearing face(Shown in the pictures) as well as it not being fully mounted. The mechanic(The owner I believe) was very unprofessional and rude. He first refused that anything was wrong and that the work was done correctly. Damage to a customer's part and sending it out is horrible. The mechanic tried having a full blown argument inside the lobby of the shop because I was receiving a refund instead of accepting the lack of quality of work. To the shops credit, the U-joints were properly installed, but the clips were scratched up as well. The young lady in the lobby was very collected and professional the entire time, holding herself to a higher standard. The male I interacted with was extremely rude and unapologetic. He refused to acknowledge the damage done to the carrier bearing and the lack of depth, which is about 0.5" deeper than this. Calverts is amazing! On my way to work at 7:30 am my car starts shaking uncontrollably on the 35. Pull off, call a good friend who refers me here ( thank gosh!) I call at 7:45 am not expecting anyone to pick up. Daniel answered the phone. Frustrated and stressed out, I explained my situation and asked if I could have my car towed to them. He ever so calmly assured me they would have no problem receiving my car via tow truck, explained the process and I really didn't need to be present, that I could get to work (just so happened to be a very important day at work) and they would get everything taken care of. Instant relief. When I say my problem was solved with one call here, there is zero exaggeration. The tire store I got new tires at did not torque my lugs nuts. Studs broke off, wheel almost came off going down the 35 😱. And, for an AMAZING price I picked up my car the very next day, good as new and all lug nuts torqued!!! 🙏🙏 Thank you guys! You have my business and referral to anyone who will listen!
